Coating
thickness meter
At
Edura-Instruments you will see coating-thickness meters for
determining the thickness of paint and surface coatings. The
thickness meters use one of the following principles to
measure paint and coating thickness: the magnetic induction
or the Foucault current. Our thickness meters can be used
for all types of surfaces (steel, iron, non-ferrous metals,
concrete, plastics, wood). That is why those meters are a
must-have in electroplating shops. Our devices are
especially practical for quality supervision in galvanizing,
zinc coating and anodizing. For the measuring of coating
thickness for sample on cars, we recommend the instruments
of the DFT-series or the checkers of the MG-series.
Here, on our web pages you will also find different types of
thickness meters for measuring wall thickness and determine
the hardness of metals, glass and plastics. You can also
find special manual devices with a sensor that operates up
to a temperature of 300°C. Devices like this are suitable
for measuring wall thickness and determining the durability
of walls with vapors to pressure conduction.
