Meters

our gloss meters on smooth, treated or untreated surfaces,
such as stone, wood, laminants, floors, and so on.
How a gloss meter measures (IG series):
Gloss is being measured by determining the reflection of a
light ray on a surface. The intensity of light reflected
from a specific point onto a sample surface affects the
measurement value. Accordingly, the surface gloss value of
glass with the calculated coefficient of 1,567 must display
a value relative to 100 on the gloss meter. As a reference
surface for calibration you can use a black glass plate with
a value of 90 for a measurement at 60° and 84 for a
